Barrett Kelpin & Isaac Hinkle Win Invitational 2009
Issac Hinkle remembered when Barrett Kelpin was knee-high to a flagstick. Kelpin recalled always looking up to Hinkle, though he now towers over him.Sunday they stood shoulder-to-shoulder and looked down on the rest of an impressive Kalamazoo Country Club Invitational field for a moment neither of them will soon forget.
Kelpin knocked down a palpitating, four-foot birdie putt on the 18th green to give he and Hinkle a 1-up victory over Tony Trumblee and Matt Thompson in the Championship Flight finals.
