Kid's Special Events in August
Ladies Golf Events in August
The members tournament and event schedule has been designed to offer a variety- something for everyone. Participation in these events is the best way to meet other members as well as keeping your game sharp.
Information on these various events can be done by a phone call, fax, or email to the golf shop. In most cases, signboards are used at the starter table or in the golf shop. Because of excellent member participation, it's advised to enter tournaments of your choice as soon as they are announced. Since the golf shop staff is actively involved in the tournament program, we will be happy to answer questions on the tournament particulars.
Men's Events Include:

The Club Championship: This is contested by flights according to your handicap and is a match play event.
The Member-Guest/Crystal Cup: Our premier showcase event held in July includes a practice round and two tournament rounds, information is mailed out in May.
Men's Dick Stewart Cup: A season long four ball match play event. Get your "pards" and sign up to see who your first match is. No handicap restriction except max of 36.
The Invitational: One of the top amateur events in the country right here at KCC, this 50+ year event attracts some of the top amateur golfers in the country. It is a Four-Ball Match Play event contested at scratch. A great spectator event viewed by all in the community. Past performers include many current PGA Tour players including Davis Love III and Camillo Villegas.
Men's Member-Member: Get your pards and try to beat the rest in this fun event. Entry fee is due before you tee off and paid back out on the basis of 1st day, 2nd day and overall. This is a two-day event.
Guest Days: Approximately four per year. Get your buddies and come out for a fun day at KCC. Guest fees are waived these days...a small event fee is charged for prizes and beverages.
Men's Shotguns: A great way to meet many members. Look for these dates in the club calendar and stay for lunch after golf.
Men's League: Six man teams are organized and three scores count. This is a 9 hole event held on Tuesdays starting in May and ending in August. Scoring is on a point basis. The 1st half winners play the 2nd half winners and there is a season ending banquet on the last day included in your dues. You can choose to sign up as a regular (weekly) player or a sub. Games don't need to be arranged ahead of time, simply show up and the golf shop staff will be happy to pair you up. This is the perfect place to get to know all the members. Mailings to sign up for this league go out each spring.
