Think Platform Tennis at KCC
There are many ways to get involved in this exhilarating cool weather sport. For newbies (or those who want to hone their skills), there are kick-off clinics. For those who want to form a group, just call the Golf Shop at 344-0752 and sign up with others who have indicated a similar interest. Paddle players are a very inclusive group and welcome others who are interested in playing.
In need of equipment? The Golf shop has what you need! Viking PT Balls are available in bright yellow/green or orange. Demo rackets are available to try before you make your racket purchase. The Golf Shop carries Viking and Wilson rackets for juniors and adults in various abilities and prices.
COURT RESERVATIONS & GUEST PLAY
Remember that courts are reserved by calling the Golf Shop. Courts may be reserved in 1 1/2 hour increments. Guests are welcome when accompanied by a member. Please sign guests up using the "Honor System" on the clipboard of the PT Hut. The guest fee is $5 per person.
MIXED COUPLES PT SCRAMBLE
For a great way to meet other members and enjoy the winter season, sign up for the mixed couples league. Call the Golf Shop to sign up. Remember, all levels are welcome.
MEN'S OPEN DROP-INS
During the fall and winter season, Drop-In is a great way to meet up casually to play. You will receive a schedule of Drop-Ins in the fall. All levels are welcome. New members, this is a nice opportunity to get started in the sport.
EQUIPMENT
Visit the Golf Shop for all of your platform tennis equipment needs. If you are planning a paddle party, they have used paddles available for your guests.
