Bob Huiskamp

Bob moved to Kalamazoo in 1984 from Asheville, N.C. working for James River Corporation as Operations Manager of the KVP Paper Mill in Parchment, Michigan. Bob left the paper industry in 1993 to found his Registered Investment Advisory business, N.V.N.G. Investments, which he currently operates.
Bob served on Kalamazoo boards: Family & Children Services, Kalamazoo Institute of Arts and Rotary.
Bob graduated from Dartmouth College in 1970 with a BA followed by a BE in Material Science from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering in 1971. Attending Northwestern University, Bob completed an MBA in 1973.
Bob and his wife, Patti, joined the KCC in 1984 putting their now grown children through the Water Show, golf program and snack bar. Bob enjoys golf and platform tennis. Son, Logan, and daughter, Martha, live with Bob’s three grandchildren in Chicago.
