Dr. Jessica Liggett

Jessica is a practicing board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. She practices medical and cosmetic dermatology as a partner at Southwest Michigan Dermatology and performs dermatopathology services at Bronson Methodist Hospital within the Pathology Services of Kalamazoo group.

Born and raised in the Kalamazoo area, she graduated from Mattawan High School and then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Movement Science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After college, she earned her medical degree from Wayne State University and remained in the Detroit area where she completed a dermatology residency program at Henry Ford Hospital.  She stayed on as teaching faculty at Henry Ford Hospital in the Department of Dermatology for a year, and then attended a dermatopathology fellowship at The University of Colorado in Denver. After completing her fellowship, she returned to the Kalamazoo area with her husband, Kalamazoo native and Mattawan High School graduate, Ben Liggett.

Jessica and Ben have been married since 2001 and have two young children, Gabriela and Jacob. Although they have been enjoying KCC through Ben’s participation in the annual KCC Invitational for almost 20 years, they officially joined the club in 2012 and have been enjoying golf and the many social activities KCC has to offer. Their children have been involved in numerous activities including junior golf, tennis, the Water Show, and look forward to all of the fun family activities such as the annual Halloween party, Santa brunch and visit from the Easter bunny.
