Kevin Jawahir

Kevin was born in London, Ontario, Canada and moved to Grand Rapids shortly thereafter. After graduating from Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School, he attended Kalamazoo College. Kevin owned two small businesses before starting a fifteen year career in Commercial Lending and Private Banking beginning with First of America Bank in 1994. Kevin joined Greenleaf Trust in March 2009 as a Trust Relationship Officer. He maintains this role today while also serving as the Assistant Director of Business Development and Personal Trust.

Kevin has served on the Board of Directors for numerous non-profit organizations in the area including Habitat for Humanity, Hospital Hospitality House, Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan, and The Risk Management Association (RMA – Kalamazoo Chapter), and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. Kevin also serves on Kalamazoo College’s Audit Committee and served on the Southwest Michigan American Heart Association Heartwalk Executive Committee.

Kevin has been married to Jennifer since 2005 and they have two daughters, Kathryn (age 12) and Sydney (age 9). As a family they have been active in many community events and Kevin has served as Chair of KCC’s Membership Committee. In addition to golf and platform tennis, Kevin enjoys running, mountain biking, triathlons and watching his daughters play travel soccer.
