1. Maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck and surrounding areas.
2. Builds effective relationships with members; help members to have the best experience possible each time they visit the pool by providing exemplary lifeguarding and customer service.
3. Ensures pool and locker room area is clean and secure during shift.
4.Reports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
5. Follows KCC policies and procedures; responds to emergency situations to standard proper standard of care based on training qualifications.

1. Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
2. Ability to report and record maintenance requests.
3. Ability to provide exemplary customer service.
4. Currently Certified by Red Cross or ELLIS as a lifeguard with CPR and First Aid endorsement. Water park certification a plus.
